Newmarket Stationeers Working Bees

The next working bee date: Tuesday, March 11th, 2014 from 9:30 am- 11:00 am. Meet in Pin Oak Crescent opposite the Deli.
We will spend some of the time pruning the grasses that have looked so lovely over the winter, spring and summer. Bring your gloves, shears or secateurs if you have them; an old bread knife will suffice.
The group usually meet on the second or third Monday each month to maintain the garden. The group didn't meet in February; it was just too hot but several members of the Stationeers group have watered and picked up rubbish since our last working bee in January. Members of the public sometimes accept the invitation written on the red bucket; a little girl and her father were observed during the hot weather the other day enjoying carefully watering a couple of plants.

  1. So lovely, glad to see the community getting involved. I will enjoy following the garden's progress.
